It's the closest major craft brewery to the Coliseum complex, which makes it a natural pre- or post-show stop for groups doing an event night + brewery combination. The taproom has solid indoor capacity and the outdoor space handles large groups well, though parking on Carriage Lane is limited for any group arriving in multiple vehicles.

Riverfront Park is a 10-acre waterfront green space along the Cooper River in the former Charleston Naval Complex — one of the most scenic urban parks in the Lowcountry, with views across the river, a restored naval destroyer on display, and open lawns that host concerts, festivals, and private events throughout the year. The park is the site of the North Charleston Arts Fest each spring and a popular gathering point for large group events throughout the year. Parking in the surrounding Noisette neighborhood is limited on event days, and the single entry road through the naval complex can back up quickly when a concert or festival is in progress.
